Hope Journey Walk 2025: A Powerful Day for Autoimmune Awareness

In October 2025, the Autoimmune Association hosted the inaugural Hope Journey Walk in Washington, D.C. and virtually—an autoimmune walk bringing together patients, families, clinicians, and supporters to raise autoimmune awareness and fuel progress for the more than 50 million Americans living with autoimmune disease. Participants walked along the waterfront, shared their stories, and united as a community determined to create a brighter, healthier future.

The event exceeded every expectation. With 227 walkers, more than 1,225 total supporters, and $95,000 raised, this inaugural autoimmune fundraiser made a meaningful impact nationwide. Every dollar raised helps fuel research, education, advocacy, and support for people living with autoimmune disease.
